Cap of Total Contract Salaries = 50.50 for 18 player roster

Each team will draft 18 players and be allowed total contract value (salaries) of 50.5 for a draft. The total contract value of all keepers and rookie draft selections will be added and the value of the total will be applied to the draft cap. Each team will select the available draft slots it wants to use. The number of draft slots selected must be equal to the roster size (18) minus the number of keepers and rookie selections. Draft slots above round 18 can only be selected if keeper values + minimum draft slot values exceeds the cap. For example, if you have 6 slots to assign for the draft and remaining cap value of 10.0, four 2.0 slots and two 1.0 slots would have to be used if available rather than using a 5.0 slot with five 1.0 slots if the additional 1.0 slots are beyond round 18.

Players who are listed as keeper eligible for an additional season can be traded between seasons. Keepers must be named prior to draft order being assigned.

Rookie draft order will be held prior to the regular draft each season, and the draft order will be in reverse order of finish for the previous season.

The rookie draft will be held in serpentine fashion the first year with the draft order being in reverse order of the regular draft. After the first year, the rookie draft will be have the same order for all rounds, with the the order being in reverse order of finish from the previous year. Fantasy Bowl runner-up and champion will have the last two draft positions.

Renegotiated/Extended Contracts

Contracts can be renegotiated at any time prior to the start of designating keepers prior to the draft. New contracts must be longer than the number of year remaining (including upcoming year) on current contract. Players must have at least one year remaining (including the upcoming year) on their contract to be get a new contract. All players who completed the last year of their contract the previous season will be free agents and will be available to be drafted by any team. It will cost more to renegotiate the contract of a player entering his last contract year than it would to renegotiate a contract with two or more years remaining.

Players will be ranked in tiers based on their final season statistical rankings from the prior 2 seasons. A theoretical contract will be asigned for each tier based on contract rankings by position from the previous season. These calculations will all be done by computer and the new contract prices will be presented on both the keeper-eligible listing and the keeper designation form.
